Papago Park in Beautiful Light

These are the sort of days that move me to thank my Creator! A beautiful sunny day in Papago Park (Phoenix, Arizona) calls to mind the old adage that “the best things in life are free.” This scene shows a picnic kiosk in the red rock desert setting of Papago Park with a fishing lagoon in the foreground. The Park’s famous landmark “Hole In The Rock” looms in the background. This is one of the best places to be in Phoenix, Arizona during a beautiful sunset. The “Hole In The Rock” provides a great vantage point to watch the sun set over the city proper, and the lagoon often mirrors sunset colors in a spectacular way. Camera: Nikon D40, kit lens.
