Light, Bokeh & Oil

Light, Bokeh & Oil

 │

I’ve been playing with kitchen counter-top compositions to improve my use of light, background blur, and bokeh as compositional elements. This photo shows some scallions on a plate next to a bottle of olive oil. An empty water jug and a half-full bottle of pink liquid detergent sit in the background.  Natural window light, background blur, and bokeh complete the composition. I used a Canon 50mm F1.8 lens at F1.8 on a Canon 10D DSLR. The raw image was converted using Sagelight 48-bit Image Editor. Check out my upcoming review of Sagelight Image Editor. So far I have seen some of the best image conversions ever from this modestly priced raw image editor! -Photo by Donald Peterson.
